Lucie Wheeler

Lucie Wheeler, P. Eng, MBA

President

First woman refinery engineer for Shell, Lucie has over 30 years of chemical engineering experience in the fields of oil refining, heavy oil and bitumen upgrading. She has been a consultant specializing in waste oil treatment for over 15 years, working on many used oil processes (UOP, distillation, cracking) in Canada, US, Poland, France, Ireland, Spain, Russia, Oman, Turkey and Egypt. She has successfully patented a number of waste oil processes (10 patents accepted and many others awaiting examination). She has a French Baccalaureate in Mathematics from the University of Caen (France), a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science – Chemical Engineering from l’École Polytechnique de Montréal (the Engineering School of the University of Montreal), and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary, Canada (Dean’s List). She also has been a member of APEGA (the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) for over 25 years.

Vice-President

Louis brings to Sweet Gazoil™ over 30 years’ experience in finance, accounting, administration, and business development. He has worked in a range of business environments, from director of planning and analysis for a division of one of the largest banks in Canada to Vice-President of finance and administration for privately held corporations. As a consultant, he specialized in finance and marketing, and was named for exceptional contribution at the Business Development Bank of Canada. He is co-inventor on some of the patent families. He is co-chairman of the distilled fuel group at NORA (National Oil Recyclers Association). He has a French Baccalaureate in Mathematics from the University of Caen (France), a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from l’École Polytechnique de Montréal and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. He is a fellow Certified Management Consultant.
